If you’re not sure where your PDF file came from, or how it was created, check out the properties. Choose File > Properties to open the dialog box. On the Description tab, look for file information including the file name, author, and any subject or keywords included in the metadata. You’ll also find the application used to produce the PDF, it’s size, number of pages, and location. Whether the file is tagged, and its PDF version are also included.
