Today’s Tip: When Drag and Drop Becomes Drag and Doh!

Not all files can be easily converted to PDF simply by dragging the file’s icon on to the Acrobat icon (or open program in Windows). If you see a message saying the file can’t be opened in Acrobat, it doesn’t always mean it can’t be opened in Acrobat. Sometimes, it simply means you have to open the source program, and convert to PDF from there. Save the drag and drop magic for simple text or image source files.
